RULES OF JOHN HEISLER BALL PARK
 
  1. No Pets, Alcoholic beverages, glass containers, etc … permitted on the park premises

  2. All Practices will be from 5 - 7 p.m. or 7- 9 p.m. (During the week)
    .  Weekend Practices can be scheduled anytime as long as they don’t interfere with games.
    .  Sunday normal hours for the park being open are 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  3. Practices will be scheduled out for the entire season in March
  4. Your Team name will be used for practices
  5. Please NO practicing on fields before a scheduled game
  6. Games take precedence over practices
  7. Only Line your Field on Game Day & put Liner Equipment away after finished with it
  8. Bases to be put away after each Game and/or Practice
  9. Pitching rubber to be pulled and put (spikes down) against dugout fence after each Game and/or Practice
10. Do not expect field to be drug for EVERY game ... just for it to look nice

. 		11. Field Maintenance will make decision by 4:00 p.m. as to field conditions,
      you can contact the GJS answering system to hear current conditions. (will be updated at/around 4:00)

. 		12. Coaches are more then welcome to “work the fields”, utilizing hand tools, to get them ready for your game ...
       as long as NO RAIN is supposed to be coming ... it can do more damage to the fields.
       All power equipment may only be run by maintenance personnel.
13. MAKE SURE YOUR AREA, ALONG WITH YOUR VISTORS' AREA, IS CLEANED UP AFTER YOUR PRACTICE & GAMES
14. NO PARKING in Handicap area or in front of designated areas.

. 		15. Cancellation Procedure – Games will ONLY be cancelled by the FIELD MAINTENANCE for field conditions,
       it is not the coach who cancels the game.
       When the game is cancelled please listen to the phone system so that you can then notify the other team
       and your parents.
       If for some reason the game gets cancelled (not by the field maintenance person)
      you need to contact the Field Scheduler & the head of concessions !
